Please read the following information carefully before completing the BISD Community Education Form.

General Information . . .

Bastrop Independent School District conducts Community Education Classes for the benefit and enjoyment of community patrons. Classes are offered at a non-credit level. Financial support to operate the Community Education program comes strictly from the registration fees and when possible, community grants from the Bastrop area. Classes will begin as scheduled without notification. You will be notified ONLY if a class is cancelled. Once a class has begun and is in progress, expenses for the teacher and materials have been set, therefore please read the refund policy carefully.

Refund Policy . . .

The Community Education program is funded through grants and registration fees, therefore the following refund procedures must be followed:

· For classes cancelled for lack of enrollment, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded.

· Withdrawal 1 week before class begins, 75% of the registration fee will be refunded.

· No refunds will be issued after a class has begun or after a sports league deadline.

Returned Checks . . .

Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) payments are processed by Checksmart.

Cancelled Classes . . .

Classes that are cancelled due to conflict with regular school activities will be rescheduled. If BISD cancels regular school classes because of bad weather or other reasons, Community Education classes will also be cancelled.

Holidays . . .

November 26-29, 2008

December 20, 2008 - January 3, 2009

Senior Citizens . . .

Senior citizens 65 years or older will receive a 50% discount on all adult community education classes.

This brochure and all class offerings included inside are only for the purpose of information, instruction, enlightenment and enjoyment for the public. Such classes are not to be construed as endorsement or investment recommendations from the individual instructors or his/her company or by Bastrop ISD.

  2. By mail: Send your check or money order to: 906 Farm Street, Bastrop, Tx 78602 

  3. By phone: Use your Visa/MC/ Discover to register at (512) 308-1601.  If we are unavailable please leave a message. 
    • Leave your name, address, daytime and evening telephone numbers, the classes for which you would like to register, and your credit card number and expiration date.
    • As long as we have all the information, we will immediately process your registration. If we have any questions, we will contact you.

  4. By fax: Fax the completed registration form with your Visa/MC/ Discover card information to (512) 308-1607, 24 hours every day.
  5. On the internet: You can register here at Bastrop ISD' s website.
